Alastair started golf at the age of seventeen, relatively late to consider a career in the sport but had already represented the county in four other sports. With real dedication and enthusiasm, he became an excellent player, captaining the Sussex U21 men’s team and enjoying success in the Haywards Heath Davies & Tate team. Alastair became a Professional in 2004 and qualified in September 2007. He had worked part time for Michael for two years prior to turning professional and in that time had built up a very extensive knowledge of golf mechanics.
